SILK CARE
The compound of silk is very similar to our human skin, they both possess 18 amino acids in common. For this reason, we recommend our customers to treat silk in the same way as we treat our skin, they are both so gentle.
• Just as our skin silk can’t tolerate high temperatures.
• Just as our skin does not like alkaline, silk does not like alkaline detergent.
• Just as our skin silk can’t stand suffering; it shouldn’t be rubbed strongly or squeezed.
The best care of silk is hand washing:
Dip your silk product in cold water under 30 degrees, add an adequate amount of silk detergent and soak it there for 5-10 minutes (no longer than 30 minutes). Rinse it well with cold water. Never twist it. Hang it or lay flat to dry. Avoid direct sunlight. Iron it in low heat or steam. If your silk product fades after a long-term use, soak it in water with a few drops of white vinegar for a few minutes.
